Yoga

Since 2013, I've been fairly devoted to yoga (and mindfulness). I appreciate how the practice is more than solely physical training. It benefits both my body and mind. Yoga has brought me so much joy and self-awareness. It's a transformational experience that has made me a better and more well-rounded individual.

In Fall 2016, I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at San Francisco's Yoga Garden under the instruction of Stacey Swan and Christie Rafanan. It was such a fun and enlightening experience that I was able to share with other positive, like-minded individuals.

My sequencing style is a vinyasa-based. It's a smooth flow with an emphasis on strengthening and balance to increase focus and energy. My sequences are highly inspired by those of Roy Gan, Robin Duryea, Christie Rafana and Karen Macklin.

Meditation

I've been practicing meditation on-and-off for about 2-3 years. Most of my experiences with meditation have been through yoga and apps like Headspace and 10% Happier.

As someone who is extremely interested in psychology and emotional intelligence, I see the profound benefits of meditation. It's literally brain training to help one stay resilient, present, calm and mindful (and much more).
