About Me

Hello. I'm Jeff.

I’m a Canadian American software engineer who lives in San Francisco. I’m originally from a small town in upstate New York called Plattsburgh.

Before San Francisco, I lived in Montreal, Canada. There, I attended both McGill University and Concordia University where I received bachelor’s degrees in Business and Computer Science, respectively. At McGill, I majored in Accounting and graduated with Distinction. Afterwards, I worked as an accountant at Ernst & Young for two years. At Concordia, I graduated in the top of my class with a 4.21 GPA (out of 4.3). I was awarded multiple scholarships for academic achievement and made it onto the Dean’s List.

Since Fall 2013, I have worked for a start-up called 77Sparx, a company that has spent the last few years creating educational mobile games for children. There, I was the lead software engineer for Puzzingo Puzzles, an award-winning mobile app.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time doing yoga or reading non-fiction. In Fall 2016, I completed the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program at Yoga Garden in San Francisco, and I am now certified to teach. I love reading about educational topics, such as philosophy, psychology, mindfulness, personal development and politics.
